The main scope of GUTTAPERCHA is to promote a consistent interaction between sound/music and visuals in an interdisciplinary artistic context; and to create a platform where artists from different fields can expand their ideas and promote themselves through audio and visual means of expression.

GUTTAPERCHA is an artistic platform with the aim to destroy distances between visual ideas and infinite imaginary soundscapes. It started operating in 2007 when a cable was laid between London and Berlin as an attempt to pass the light from "sleepy" photographic creations to "haunted buildings and solitary ghosts".
«Trains, Buildings & Ghosts (between London and Berlin)», the first draft, is an example of our celebratory approach. It is an ongoing collection of sounds/songs inspired by bärenland’s photographs that can be also the structure for a movie, a performance, a literary work, an exhibition, a painting or a poem. There’s no limit for exploration and experimentation. Each work can go on forever. This idea also illustrates our existential conceptual status: a work in progress.
